Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting
NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certificated (Extremely Well Preserved certificate)
Swordsmith: YOSHINORI
A quality Katana sword from SAMURAI STORE Yokohama sword store. Antique Katana long blade made by the swordsmith Yoshii YOSHINORI (2nd gen) in Muromachi period around 1410's. Very old but still in excellent condition. Inscription of the sword smith name is engraved on the tang. Beautiful stray straight tempered-line pattern on blade. Registered as TOKUBETSU Hozon paper "Extremely Well-Preserved Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). The blade has Bo-Hi groove on the edge. The blade comes in a complete ornate mounting featuring a stunning openwork Dragon Tsuba guard. Shirasaya wooden holder also comes with.
