Antique suit of armor Edo period w/ Tokubetsu-Kicho Certificate
A quality antique armor from mid Edo period (1700's). Cuirass is finished with iron and leather, and a beautiful dragon Makie gold/silver relief. Registered as Tokubetsu Kicho paper "Important historical armor" by The Association for the Research and Preservation of Japanese Helmets and Armor. The original storage box, display stand, and all pieces shown in the catalogue come with. The storage box has a Hanabishi (flower) crest that represents the head of the Takeda warlord family and the military governor of Kai Province, or Takami family that domained Takami castle.
