Antique suit of armor Edo period w/ Tokubetsu-Kicho Certificate

A quality antique armor from mid Edo period (1700's). Cuirass is finished with iron and leather, and a beautiful dragon Makie gold/silver relief. Registered as Tokubetsu Kicho paper "Important historical armor" by The Association for the Research and Preservation of Japanese Helmets and Armor. The original storage box, display stand, and all pieces shown in the catalogue come with. The storage box has a Hanabishi (flower) crest that represents the head of the Takeda warlord family and the military governor of Kai Province, or Takami family that domained Takami castle.

Style : Life-size authentic antique suit of armor.
Age : Edo period (1600-1700's)
Cuirass: Rusty dark brown (almost black) lacquere painted iron Okegawa Nimaido 2 divided cuirass covered with genuine leather. A dragon Makie gold/silver relief on the chest. Blue silk lacing with Orange accent lacing.
Helmet: Consists of 6 hand-spliced iron plates bowl with brass header decoration and fittings.
Menpo Mask:Rusty brown lacquer painted iron mask with horse hair mustache
Kote sleeves:Rusty brown lacquer painted iron plates and chain mails on silk clothing
Haitate Thigh Guard:Silk clothings covered with all metal chain-mails
Sune-Ate leg guards:Silk clothings covered with brown metal chain-mails and iron plates
Yoroi-Hitsu storage box:Wooden box covered with traditional Washi paper skin. A Hanabishi crest from Takeda or Takami clan is painted on the front side.
Certificate: Tokubetsu-Kicho paper / Very Significant Well-Preserved antique armor
